Nigerian singer, Tems has refused to eat in Ugandan police custody in video Following her arrest for performing in Uganda.
The musician stated in a video where she was being persuaded to eat, that it owns her body and should be left alone. She also said that she had not eaten in 24 hours and would like to go on that way
The Next Rated nominee, Tems declared recently that she would not eat or drink in custody, following her arrest by the Ugandan police. This was after she was arrested and placed in handcuffs alongside colleague, Omah Lay for performing in the country.
Ugandan police claimed they were arrested and have been charged to court for negligently getting involved in acts that could spread infectious diseases.
